This page is for setting related questions and submissions for things to flesh out the world building of the Crucible. Anything not firmly established on the setting page but could be something useful for common reference should go in here so that it can be referred to by everyone.

You don't need to vet every room/object/etc through this post so long as it makes sense to the setting. However, if you are unsure or want to establish something unique or would like context from the mod, please submit through the request form below.

Categories of Discovery

Locations

This can be anything from a specific room within the Lonely Fortress, a building in the sunken village, or an isolated structure somewhere else in the Crucible. All structures within the setting reflect a pre-industrial lifestyle and architecture. Over time, some have been converted to fit a different purpose to fit the needs of the exiles using them.

Objects

Anything that would be native to the Crucible: plants, animals, supplies, weapons, etc. Keep in mind the availability of technology and materials limited to what is brought by exiles from more modern settings.

If you are looking for a specific item or something that would be considered a character token/trinkets, those sort of requests will only be available through night market events or redeeming favors submitted through bonus activity.

Knowledge

A piece of the puzzle to broaden understanding. This covers: books, lore, hearsay, manners of instruction for development of practical and magical skill.

AREA: Lonely Fortress
LOCATION: Main keep, near the dining hall
PURPOSE: Entertainment, social club
DESCRIPTION:

One of the parlor rooms has been draped wall to wall with velvet curtains. Couches and benches have been pushed aside leaving the center floor scattered with pillows of various sizes. A large low table in the center of the room serves as a stage for entertainment. The atmosphere is mellow and intimate.

MISC:

The parlor is open nightly as a place to decompress, watch live entertainment, and find intimate companionship. Drinks and small sweet treats available help calm and relax the spirit but sometimes contain mild aphrodisiacs.
